At Kedron Dental Centre we encourage regular attendance on a 6 monthly basis to assess and detect any dental problems. Xrays may be taken to assist diagnosis. If necessary, a scale and clean is performed.. When a dentist cleans your teeth they remove soft and hard deposits from your teeth. The main reason of having your teeth cleaned is to prevent or delay the progression of gum diseases and the formation of cavities. The frequency of professional teeth cleaning depends on the health of your teeth and gums.

If a cavity is detected we now tend to use tooth coloured restorations to repair the damaged or decayed tooth. The dark amalgam fillings have been strong and successful but are very unaesthetic. The white fillings blend in with the tooth colour and give a natural smile.
